Salvation Army Tabernacle Children's Choir

Salvation Army Tabernacle Children's Choir was formed with the intention of providing affordable music education for every child. The choir, comprised of children under 13 years of age, who will sings “Ready, Set, Christmas.”

The choir has performed alongside such greats as James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones and Neil Sedaka. In 2001 and 2002, the chorus was invited to represent California at the International Children's Festival in Cambridge, England.

The Tabernacle Children's Choir can be found performing in the Southland at Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm.

Choir Director Barbara Allen has conducted children's choirs for 22 years. As a performing arts consultant and a professional singer, Allen has performed on television, radio and in theater in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. She currently has released three albums, The Reason, Signs of the Times and Through It All. Her husband Steve serves as the choir's accompanist.
