The
following information applies to dates available within
the Ford season only. For 2001, the Ford season is
May 1-October 31. Box office services may be negotiated.
The basic rental
price for a single stage performance (one 10-hour day) is $4,500. The
following services are included in this price:
House Management
Production Manager
Use of house sound equipment
Use of house lighting equipment
Minimal Security
Maintenance
Concessions
Box office stage
crew, insurance, additional security services are not included.
STAGE CREW
Stage crew needs are arranged with
the Ford's Production Manager. Rates at $22/hour per person for 1st eight
hours in a day, $33/hour for 8-12 hours and $44/hour for over 12 hours
in the same day.
SECURITY
DEPOSIT
In addition to the rental price, a security deposit of
$1,000 is required. Some events may require a higher security deposit.
INSURANCE
A certificate of insurance must be received no later than
30 days prior to load-in date. Insurance must include:
1) Bodily injury
in the amount of $1,000,000 per person and per occurrence, naming the
County and the Los Angeles Philharmonic as additional insured.
2) Property Damage
in the amount of $100,000 naming the County and the Los Angeles Philharmonic
as additional insured.
CURFEW & LENGTH
OF PERFORMANCE POLICY
All events must end no later than 11:00 p.m.
SOUND LIMIT POLICY
Decibel levels will not exceed 95 at any time. There will be a $500 penalty
deducted from the security deposit for any event exceeding 95 decibels
on house db meter.
COMPLIMENTARY
TICKETS
32 Complimentary tickets for each performance will be made available to
the County for use at the disposition of the Executive Director.
PUBLICITY
All publicity for the event must be submitted for approval in advance
of any printing or distribution
NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
Upon submitting proof of 501(c)3 status, non-profit organizations may
receive a reduced rental rate of $3,500. All other financial requirements
remain the same.

Film rentals are negotiated on a case by case basis.
