The Los Angeles County Arts Commission sponsors free concerts at community venues throughout Los Angeles County to provide access to quality music programming representing the diversity of County residents. The Arts Commission, the Recording Industries’ Music Performance Trust Fund and the Professional Musicians Union, Local 47, provides funds for the program. The Arts Commission administers the program and along with Local 47 pays musicians a performance fee at rates established by the Musicians Union.

• We are pleased to announce our new online application system. The new eGRANT system will increase efficiency and accuracy for applicant organizations. You MUST submit your application electronically this year.

Musicians Roster

• We are currently creating a Musicians Roster that will be accessible beginning June 2, 2003. The roster will be searchable by style of music and include a brief description of the group, a photo, and 30-60 second audio clip. After June 2, 2003, organizations utilizing Trust Fund support for musicians’ fees will be REQUIRED to select musicians/groups from the Musicians Roster.
