Rancho Los Amigos - Outpatient Building

Artist Hataya Tubtim was selected to create an artwork for the Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center Outpatient Building.  Rancho Los Amigos has a history of excellence and innovation with a patient-family centered approach to care, making patient involvement key to the success of civic art at this site. Taking cues from this model, Tubtim led three distinct workshop series for, by, and with Rancho Los Amigos patients and staff to expand the Rancho Art Collection and create a vinyl mural installation for the second floor of the Outpatient Building. or the last phase of the Rancho North Campus civic art requirement, artist Hataya Tubtim was selected to complete a project at the Center. Taking cues from this model, Tubtim led three distinct workshop series for, by, and with Rancho patients and staff to build the Rancho Art Collection and create a mural for the second floor Outpatient Building. Installation of the mural by artist Hataya Tubtim was completed in early May 2021.
