Project Description

The Vermont Corridor Building is a new facility in Koreatown for the Department of Mental Health and the Department of Workforce Development, Aging, and Community Services. Artist Suzy Taekyung Kim was selected to create an artwork for the soffit wall of the entrance lobby. The artwork titled, “Canopy of Blooms” is made up of 12 wooden panels and was fabricated by the artist. The painting was installed in September 2021.
