Description

Los Angeles-based artist and architect, Louise Griffin, designed and fabricated a two-dimensional artwork for the East Rancho Dominguez Library. Her design celebrates both the neighborhood’s history (by depicting local trees and historic maps) and the library itself (through book imagery). The artwork is a colorful collage of these visual elements on glass panels hung 10 feet high on the interior of the Library.
