The arts administration intern is integral in serving the community through our services and programs. Together with the co-directors, the arts administration intern provides crucial support for all programs and is instrumental in assisting in the management of projects, including public art, workshops, art exhibits and general organizational administration. Additional responsibilities may include some marketing and promotion for the organization, communicating with outside vendors, performers, donors and artists. This is mostly remote position working a minimum of 20 weeks from September through February out of the office in Chatsworth, CA.


This person should be highly organized, dependable, professional, and resourceful. Successful candidates will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be detail-driven, demonstrate initiative, be organized, flexible, and be able to work one-on-one with supervisors as well as in a group setting. We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, and a collaborator that respects taking direction, and savvy at finding solutions. 

General to advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet (Excel) and graphic software (Photoshop, etc), doc sharing platforms (dropbox, google drive) is required.

The ability to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. as needed, as well as making trips up and down the stairs

Have a valid CA driver’s license and have a working vehicle
