The Design and Communications Intern will play an important role in continuing the initiatives that are part of artworxLA's Strategic Plan, which outlines strategies for strengthening and expanding fundraising, development, and infrastructure. We are continuing our work to improve our capacity as a support system for L.A. alternative high school students, and continue to position ourselves to more effectively communicate our mission with sustainability and programming growth. Qualifications

Design and Communications intern applicants must be proficient or want to learn Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Other important requirements for applicants include:
• Basic knowledge of copy editing and willingness to learn Square Space and HTML coding.
• Desire to work in an arts education organization
• Ability to work on deadlines
• Interest in Public Relations/Documentation
• Other Apps include ASANA and Slack
