Description

The marketing intern will work alongside the producing artistic director in publicizing (and mounting) of the Torrance Theatre Company's 20th anniversary season. Much of the intern's focus is on the first show- the annual summer musical at the Armstrong Theatre. Additionally, the intern will assist with pre-production for the five-show season in our downtown venue. The focus of the internship will be marketing, but the experience will include every aspect of the production process from auditions to the final curtain.

Qualifications

The successful candidate is proactive, enthusiastic, and organized. We are looking for someone who is ready for a fast-paced and exciting summer making theatre magic! We are looking for someone with strong oral and written communication skills. We are looking for someone who has social media savvy, with experience in a variety of platforms. Video production and photo editing are a plus. We are looking for someone who wants to help create dynamic marketing campaigns on a limited budget, which will require thinking outside of the box. We want to spread the word about the TTC like never before. Experience with Photoshop and iMovie is helpful. The city uses the Microsoft suite, knowledge of those apps are essential. Candidate should posses a CA driver's license.
