Damatic Results uses the Design Thinking Process to develop curriculum with the end-user in mind. We focus on bringing professional artists (visual and performing arts) and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) professionals into traditional spaces to work with our students using communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. We collaborate with various audiences to discover new ways of closing the gap between education and professional industries. The design thinking process allows us to connect with our users, define the area of focus, come up with those wild ideas, and develop a prototype for testing. Through an iterative process we make new discoveries and tweak programming to meet the needs of all of our users all while making connections to career pathways. Prospective Projects: Observe Theater program and work with professional Theater Artists to empathize and debrief on the virtual experience Use the data collected to develop best practices for online instruction Work collaboratively with Education Engineers and STEAM professionals to develop and test workshops using the design thinking process Work with the Marketing Intern to develop a new resource to be added to our Teaching Toolbox. This position will work about 15-20 hours a week from August through February, and will work remotley.
