Founded in 2007, Ebony Repertory Theatre (ERT) is the first African-American Professional Equity theatre company in Los Angeles and the resident company and operator of the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center. ERT's mission is to create, develop, nurture and sustain a world-class professional theatre rooted in the experience of the African Diaspora and shaped by a dynamic perspective that incorporates an understanding of, and respect for, the unique African-American journey to freedom.
Ebony Repertory Theatre (ERT), is the resident company and operator of the 399 seat, state of the art, Nate Holden Performing Arts Center, located in Los Angeles' mid-city community. ERT produces and presents professional theatre, dance, and music rooted in the experience of the African Diaspora and shaped by a dynamic perspective that incorporates an understanding of, and respect for the unique African American journey from slavery to freedom.” Our intern should be creative and seeking a great summer experience in the performing arts.
The successful candidate must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power point, social media strategies and platforms. She/he must possess excellent written communication, verbal communication, and research skills. The intern must have a professional demeanor both in person and over the phone, initiative to take the next step, ability to meet deadlines, and tact in how they interact with the public. It is extremely important that they have the ability to multi-task and work with diverse personalities. She/he must maintain an oath of confidentiality during and after this internship. A car is required, valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
