Fulcrum Arts empowers artists to invent, inspire, and provoke. We provide resources and opportunities for artists, collectives, and independent arts organizations to advance their visions and contribute to a vibrant, challenging, and inclusive creative community.
AxS Program Intern will work in a deadline-driven environment to coordinate events, symposia, and residencies which will reach regional audiences, with national impact. Intern will also work directly with our summer artist-in-residence on a long-term art/science project being developed in collaboration with NASA/JPL, LACMA, and Fulcrum Arts.
Background and familiarity with contemporary culture, in particular, visual and performing arts, and some knowledge of art and technology projects. Professional-level communication techniques in a variety of mediums; demonstrated time management skills in organizational administration; effective project management skills. Students with experience working in Max/MSP and/or Pure Data are encouraged to apply.
