The Gabriella Foundation's (TGF) Mission is to transform the lives of underserved youth in Los Angeles through high-quality dance education. Our dance program, everybody dance!, provides year-round, high-quality, sequential dance school-day and after-school instruction for 3,750 children and youth ages 4 to 19.
The intern will work closely with the Artistic Director and the Operations Manager to provide hands on support for the launch of our fall semester. Our programs serve low-resourced children and youth ages 4 - 17. Duties will include assisting with registration, organizing materials, and helping to educate and inform our families of new policies and procedures related to COVID-19. The position will be part time remote, to begin in August and end in March at about 15 hours a week.
Ideally, the applicant will have experience with visual arts and crafts, some dance knowledge and be enthusiastic, energetic, and dependable. The intern must have leadership qualities, good communication and organizational skills, and be a team player. Previous experience working with youth is mandatory. Also useful is an understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel. Bi-lingual Spanish speakers are strongly encouraged to apply.
