Greenway Arts Alliance unites communities through art, education and enterprise. Through our professional productions and arts education programs, Greenway builds a vibrant artistic community by connecting professional artists to the greater Los Angeles community. Internship will focus on implementing marketing projects and social media for Greenway events, including creating a pop-up marketing booth at the Melrose Trading Post, a weekly market held every Sunday in the parking lot.
The Producing Intern will work closely with Tiffany Moon, Greenway’s Producing Director, on a variety of marketing, development, community engagement, pre-production, and literary projects surrounding Greenway Court Theatre’s 19/20 Season. Greenway’s Producing Director manages all aspects of operating and producing at The Greenway Court Theatre, and this internship is designed to introduce the intern to the daily life of producing and managing a theatre.
The Producing Intern will possess strong written and oral communication skills and
should be comfortable with working with a diversity of people. S/he is self-motivated and flexible in performing a myriad of tasks. Previous experience in event coordination and/or theatre producing is a plus. S/he should have a desire to learn the basics of theatrical producing. The intern should be fluent with computers (PC/Mac), Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Internet research and online social networking.
