International City Theatre is Long Beach's resident professional theatre company producing five main stage productions and six education programs annually. ICT was founded in 1985 with a mission to educate, entertain, inspire and provoke thoughtful dialogue through live theatre. ICT is an award-winning company and has received more than 350 professional awards to date including the L. A. Drama Critics Circle Award for Sustained Excellence in Theater.
Development and Marketing Intern needed for professional, non-profit and award winning International City Theatre. 2019 marks its 34th season which includes five mainstage productions and six education programs. The intern will work with professionals and learn more about the process of creating and producing live professional theatre. With a small staff, the intern will be an integral and valued member of this close-knit team in Downtown Long Beach.
Prospective interns should have analytical, administrative, communication, creative and organizational skills. Computer skills are a must, graphic knowledge is a plus. A sense of numbers and language is needed as well as good people skills, a sense of humor and a professional demeanor.
