The IDA is dedicated to building and serving the needs of a thriving documentary culture. We believe documentary storytelling expands understanding of our shared human experience, fostering an informed, compassionate, and connected world. We are therefore committed to providing resources to filmmakers, creating community, and defending the rights and freedoms of documentary artists and documentary journalists.
