KCET, part of the Southern California Public Media Group is seeking a Crowdfunding Intern for Summer 2018 to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with media professionals on crowdfunding campaigns using platforms such as Kickstarter, Kickstarter Drip, and Patreon to fund initiatives supporting our original broadcast and digital productions. The student will learn how to design crowdfunding campaigns, how to drive traffic to the site, keep the campaign active, create successful promotional strategies, and how to evaluate results with data analysis.

Qualifications

KCET is seeking applicants with a passion for public media and a desire to join a highly creative, fast-paced and innovative team focusing on new fundraising channels. The ideal candidate has the ability to communicate clearly in writing, good organizational skills and ability to follow detailed schedules, ability to collaborate well with others, proficient with Excel and Word and have familiarity with various types of digital file formats.
