Proclaimed “America’s finest chamber orchestra” by Public Radio International, LACO is among the world’s top musical ensembles. The Production Intern will have a unique opportunity to be part of this outstanding organization and gain a foothold in the top echelons of classical music. This position will work approximately 20 hours a week from September 2021 through January 2022.

Qualifications

The intern should be highly organized and have strong written and verbal communications skills. Personable and persuasive communications with individuals at all levels will be necessary.  Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel will be necessary. Knowledge of and interest in classical music will be a plus.

Background

The mission of Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra is to enrich and connect our community through intimate and transformative musical experiences that exemplify and foster artistic excellence, education and innovation. As we return to our normal schedule of 35-40 concerts and other events each year, LACO will reach an audience of over 25,000, with a million more listening to radio broadcasts (streamed worldwide) and viewing concerts and events via multiple platforms at home.
