Led by visionary Artistic Director Grant Gershon, the 100 professional singers who comprise the Los Angeles Master Chorale combine a sublime mastery of the art form with a passion for adventurous programming and are considered by many to be the country's leading vocal ensemble. In addition to presenting its own concert season in Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Master Chorale engages 5,000 youth and their families each year through its award-winning music education and outreach programs.
The marketing intern will work closely with members of the marketing team. The intern will update reports to track sales, website visitation, social media engagement, and email readership; post to and monitor social media accounts; assist the marketing associate in creating email newsletters; create mail lists from the company database; and process invoices. The intern will also catalogue and organize photos, music clips, and past marketing materials, and will help conduct a comprehensive audit of the website. This internship will work remotely for about 20-40 hours per week starting in August.
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and self-starter, who is organized, responsible, and loves music. They should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office software, be comfortable using a PC, and have a love of choral music.
