The National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP) has a mission to advocate, advance, promote and advocate for Latino content creators across all media platforms. For over 18 years NALIP has been addressing the professional needs of Latino and diverse artists in film, television, documentary and digital/tech. NALIP works to strengthen and multiply the quantity and quality of images by and about Latinos while providing support for emerging, mid level, and advanced content creators.

Description

There are many components that go into producing NALIP's biggest event of the year one that aims to advance the careers of Latinos and diverse creatives in media in front and behind the camera. The selected intern will become part of the NALIP Media Summit team and assist in coordinating, developing, and production of the Emerging Content Creator Workshop a dedicated workshop held during the annual NALIP Media Summit. The workshop is geared to empower strong creatives starting out in the entertainment industry.

Qualifications

Intern encouraged to demonstrate strong interest in the entertainment industry including television, independent film, scripted and digital media. Strong communication and computer skills. Knowledge and versatility of technology apps, post-production software and database management is highly desired but not required. Able to multitask and take on different responsibilities in a fast paced environment. Self motivated, takes initiative, organized, and detail oriented skills required.
