NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization designed to showcase innovative works by emerging filmmakers from around the world, providing the LA community with monthly screening events. NFMLA provides a forum where filmmakers can be recognized for their contributions, have open audience discussions about their projects and connect with industry professionals for insight on distribution, production, acquisition and representation.

NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) is looking for a talented Event Graphic Design Intern to join the team and assist with creating both physical and online marketing and promotional materials for the summer editions of the organization's Monthly Diversity-Driven Film Festival events.

Qualifications

The ideal Event Graphic Design Intern candidate: <br/><br/>1. Has excellent Graphic Design skills using the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) <br/>2. Has a Graphic Design portfolio <br/>3. Manages multiple tasks while meeting deadlines <br/>4. Can create, maintain and report on social media campaigns <br/>5. Has a passion for photography, pop-culture, and media <br/>6. Is familiar with data analytics and filtering data in Google Sheets, Excel, etc. <br/>7. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills <br/>8. Is pursuing a degree in graphic design, film/television, marketing, communications, digital or related studies
