The 2019 Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival Outreach Intern will have the opportunity to participate in the creation and implementation of Outfest's well regarded social media and online promotions; and in doing so, simultaneously learn community based audience development strategies. This work will be driven with a goal of aiding in increasing participation and awareness of our annual festival, ideally with youth and underserved communities.


The ideal internship candidate should have excellent organizational, communication and writing skills, as well as an ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and diverse workplace. Solid computer skills (Apple OS), including Microsoft Office applications, Google Suite, databases, and Internet research skills. Some customer service experience preferred. Previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite, and an interest in LGBTQ film is a plus. Access to personal transportation is extremely helpful for the 10-day run of Outfest Los Angeles.
