Description

The Education Programs Intern will assist in the coordination and implementation of PCM’s summer and fall music education programming. Duties include supporting the Director of Operations in: assisting with in-person programming including recitals and events, offering administrative support for summer and fall registration, collecting data for program evaluation and marketing, scheduling PCM facilities for in-person activities, gathering content needed to promote summer and fall programs, and tracking and reporting event and activity attendance.

This position will work 25-30 hours per week and is an in-person internship from June through October. In observance of any public health recommendations that may arise due to COVID, the Education Programs Intern may be offered the option to work from home on occasion.

Qualifications

The Education Programs Intern should have strong written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience with administrative support including email and other computer skills is preferred. The ideal candidate has a passion for the performing arts, with an interest in music education a plus. The Education Programs Intern should be self-motivated and comfortable working individually and in a team environment. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite, Zoom and other virtual formats.
