As the Production Management Intern at A Place Called Home you will be primarily responsible for the successful production of APCH Theater Department Productions over the course of their Summer season and Fall semester. This is a great opportunity for a creative individual to build skills and experience around stage management, production management, prop design and creation, and more, all while serving the South Central Los Angeles community. Intern will work between 20 and 30 hours a week from June through December.
This is an ideal position for an enthusiastic, warm candidate who loves working in a fast-paced creative environment. Applicants should have a desire to work in theater with a high degree of personal organization, self-motivation, and strong interest in live-event and production management. The ability to speak both Spanish and English is not required, but is a plus.
A Place Called Home provides a safe, nurturing environment with proven programs in arts, education and wellness for the young people in South Central Los Angeles to help them improve their economic conditions and develop healthy, fulfilling and purposeful lives. Each year the organization serves 13,000 local residents, including 950 youth members ages 8- mid-twenties who are enrolled in core programs.
