Founded in 1970 by a group of pioneering and independent filmmakers, Visual Communications (VC) has evolved from being the first Asian American media arts organization dedicated to creating accurate and sensitive portrayals of Asian Americans to becoming an artistic development institute for Asian American media creators. Visual Communications' mission is to develop and support the voices of Asian American & Pacific Islander filmmakers and media arts.
The Marketing & Social Media Associate will work with staff and other interns to prepare and develop marketing and social media campaigns related to VC programming and the intern-led summer exhibition screening.
Experience with social media tools such as Twitter, Facebook, etc. Ability to work individually and in a team. Enthusiastic about the work he or she will participate in. Graphic design experience (e.g. Adobe Photoshop) is strongly preferred, but not required.
