The mission of the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts is to create, present and celebrate unique performing arts events and educational programs that reflect the rich cultural diversity of our community. Located in Beverly Hills, The Wallis presents an annual season of theater, music, dance, and speaker series, and a range of education and outreach programs that make the performing arts accessible to all community members and cultivate the next generation of artists and audiences.
The Development Intern will help us envision, create and launch new benefits for our annual donors, including the new Wallis Ambassadors program. The intern will help develop collateral materials, including a re-invented donor benefits card that will entitle donors to various benefits; a donor benefits brochure; and a Milestones newsletter that informs donors of institutional accomplishments. They will research and brainstorm ideas for improved donor benefits, and then they will work with our graphic designers to create and brand the new materials.
The intern must have excellent interpersonal skills and be willing to communicate with diverse new people in writing, by phone, and in person. They should be a strong writer who will be dedicated to learning a business writing style. Social media savvy and general computer knowledge (i.e. Microsoft Office) will be valuable in all aspects of the project.
