WordTheatre gives voice to great writing. We are an innovative, internationally esteemed nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring empathy, curiosity and conversation with powerful and entertaining performances, both live and recorded, of the world's best contemporary literature. The Media Coordinator Intern will help organize WordTheatre®’s unique archive of over 1200 stories, penned by world class contemporary authors and performed by esteemed actors in the US and the UK, for our fall 2019 Podcast. This includes archiving event photographs, facilitating the signing of talent contracts, and developing social media campaigns. The intern’s writing and technical media skills will be utilized and improved under the supervision of experienced producers.
Great organizational skills and a self-starter attitude required plus a familiarity with platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, Facebook, and iTunes. Strong writing skills and/or basic video and audio editing skills are preferred. We welcome social media creativity.
