Young Storytellers engages creativity through the art of storytelling. Using the timeless techniques of mentoring, collaboration, and live performance, as well as current film technology, we provide youth with an opportunity to write stories and see them brought to life. Our mission is to inspire young people to discover the power of their own voice.
The Young Storytellers Intern is someone who is pursuing a career in nonprofit management or education, has a knack for storytelling, and a passion for inspiring young people to discover the power of their own voice. Through research and trainings, the Young Storytellers Intern will develop as an agent of change and personal growth in our community.
Interns must be current college students (undergrad, grad or community college) Interns must have access to a car. Interns will be required to complete an application and background check.
Interns should have basic and working knowledge of Word/Excel/Google docs.
Interns should have a passion for arts education and serving children in the community.
