NOTE: The information below is to help prospective participants prepare for the summer 2018 Arts Internship Program. A list of those available positions will be posted in the "2018 Internships" tab on March 30, 2018.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
2018 Arts Internship positions will be open to currently enrolled undergraduate (2- or 4-year) college students who reside or attend college in Los Angeles County. Students must have completed at least one semester of college by June 1, 2018, or will complete their undergraduate degree between May 1 - September 1, 2018 in order to participate. Students must be able to legally work in the United States.
WHO IS NOT ELIGIBLE?
Students who have already earned a BA, BS or a higher degree are not eligible. Students who have previously participated in the Los Angeles County Arts Internship Program are not eligible to participate a second time.
The Arts Commission encourages eligible students from all ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, as well as disabled students, to apply.
Students invited to participate in the program will be asked to provide verification of eligibility via college transcripts, driver’s license, and other documents to show enrollment status and/or LA County residence. There are no exceptions to our eligibility requirements.
