About

The Musicians Roster is a comprehensive database of musical performers. Each artist and ensemble on this list has gone through a competitive application process. Accepted ensembles will be listed on the Musicians Roster for four years.
Organizations seeking to present a show through the Free Concerts in Public Sites program are required to select musicians/music groups from the Musicians Roster. Additionally, the Musicians Roster is used by arts organizations and residents looking for music programming and has the potential of increasing bookings and performance opportunities for musicians and music groups.

Application Process

The Arts Commission accepts applications from Los Angeles County-based musicians who wish to be on the Musicians Roster. A panel of experienced music professionals, and/or Los Angeles County presenting organizations, convenes to evaluate the applicants. Selection criteria are based on artistic excellence, cultural diversity and the ability to work well and cooperatively with other organizations as representatives of this program.

New Guideline Changes

The Musicians Roster will now be updated every two years and approved musicians will remain on the roster for four years.

Application Timeline

The 2018-2022 Musicians Roster application is now closed.
