The members of Trane Stories are a group leaders and accomplished musicians who each share a love of John Coltrane's music. The group consists of Dwight Tribl (vocals, poetry, and spoken word), Teodross Avery (Tenor and Soprano Saxophone), Theo Saunders (Piano), Henry Franklin (Bass), and Marvin "Smitty" Smith (Drums). Combined, the members of Trane Stories have been featured on hundreds of recordings and have performed internationally. As a unit, they have recently recorded Trane Stories in Performance.
