Supervisor Hilda L. Solis and the Board of Supervisors declared April 2026 as Arts Month—a time to remember the celebrate the importance and power of the arts! To celebrate, we're highlighting our new LA County Civic Art Collection website and sharing some downloadable backgrounds (for use as wallpapers and meeting app backgrounds). All of the artworks featured on this page are part of the LA County Civic Collection, cared for by our Civic Art Division.
LA County Civic Art Collection Website
We are very excited this month to launch an webpage that showcases this collection! Accessed via any desktop or mobile browser, you can explore hundreds of artworks, which span many mediums and are located throughout the County. Each entry is accompanied by images and information, and users can search the collection by artist, title, location, or Supervisorial District. Our Civic Art Division also created an instructional navigation video that highlights the features and functionality of the new webpage.

We’ve made a few artworks available to download below as desktop wallpapers or video conference backgrounds (for programs such as Teams and Zoom). There is one artwork from each Supervisorial District (SD) in the County!
