Description

As an Associate Producer at The Blank Theatre, you will work daily with the Young Playwrights Festival Producer and over 100 theatre professionals to produce a unique, nationally recognized festival for young playwrights. Many winners have gone on to win prestigious awards on and off Broadway as well as become successful in the TV and film world. Many of our interns are now working professionals in the arts industry here in Los Angeles and around the country. Every intern has said that working on YPF was fun, creative and challenging and many have returned to work on the festival the following years. This position is full time at 40 hours per week from June to August. 
 

Qualifications

Ideally, the intern will have basic theatre production knowledge. The intern's skill set should include the following:  -Efficient time management skills  -Aptitude for coordinating and organizing  -Basic office and computer skills (Microsoft Office, PC)  -Ability and desire to communicate well with others  -Attention to detail  -Takes initiative  -Ability to multitask  -An eagerness for and love of theatre
