Museum hours are Tuesdays: 10AM - 1PM and Thursdays 3:30-5:30PM. Drop-in art activity from 1-4PM on Tuesday, exclusively for County employees.

The South Gate Museum and Art Gallery is a cultural institution dedicated to celebrating the history and art of South Gate, California. It offers a space for the collection, preservation, and interpretation of objects related to South Gate's history, as well as art exhibitions from the South Gate and Southeast Los Angeles communities.

Explore the historic WPA murals History of Printing Through the Ages by artist, Suzanne Miller and enjoy the temporary exhibition, Alma Querida (Dear Soul). Museum staff will be offering a drop-in art workshop for County employees!

Museum will be open 10AM-4PM on May 12.
Drop-in art workshop: 1 - 4PM
Option: Drive 20 minutes to visit Stay Arts in Downey on May 12 at 2PM!

Regular open gallery hours are Saturdays from 1-4PM. Open museum hours are Tuesdays from 10AM-1PM and Thursdays 3:30-5:30PM.
