Learn the 101 of proposal writing and dive beyond the application to better understand the grant process, with an opportunity to step into a grant panelist’s shoes.  You’ll walk away being able to identify the characteristics of strongly written applications, with new ideas for how to make your proposals pop. 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
This workshop is intended for nonprofit administrators who are specifically seeking to strengthen grant applications related to their arts and culture programs. Organizations preparing applications for the Organizational Grant Program (OGP) or Community Impact Arts Grant (CIAG) are especially encouraged to attend.

PRESENTER BIO:
LESLIE GRAHAM works as Director, Grants and Partnerships with the social enterprise Green Commuter. An experienced fundraiser and management consultant to nonprofit organizations, Leslie previously served as a Director of Development at CalArts and was a Fundraising Coach for the Art Commission's Cultivate:Create initiative. She has raised more than $4 million dollars to benefit arts, cultural and educational organizations.
