Heidi Duckler Dance, LA’s top site-specific dance company, is looking for a Production and Festival Intern who will support the Engagement Director with the planning and executing of HDD’s performance events and programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with summer programming, providing support to our production team for events, composing outreach to vendors and local artists, and assisting with grant writing as needed. This position will work approximately 40 hours per week from June through August.
-Comfortable communicating with diverse populations -Excellent writing skills -Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) is a plus -Mac proficient -Comfortable with Microsoft Office and Google Drive applications -Reliable Transportation -Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week for the entire 10 week internship
Heidi Duckler Dance (HDD) creates place-based performances that transform non-traditional spaces, providing learning opportunities and engaging diverse communities, in the belief that the arts can change our vision of the world and of ourselves. Since 1985, HDD has produced over 500 interdisciplinary performance experiences in unexpected locations around the world.
