J.U.i.C.E. provides a safe, positive space where hip-hop arts can flourish as a tool to combat youth violence, build technical skill, facilitate peer support, build knowledge, access professional arts opportunities, and build community. Through our programming, we support the practice and production of all elements of hip-hop culture.
The Intern will assist in conducting outreach in the underserved communities in Los Angeles, with the goal of bring new connections to build on virtual programming and future collaborations. In addition, the intern will help us integrate our web-based arts education curriculum modules into our programs, including curating the educational experience for our participants and online community. This is a fully remote position starting in August that will continue till February, working about 16 hours a week.
Preferred but not required are graphic design skills, digital media (video & photography) shooting and editing, marketing and/or publicity experience, and event production experience.
