The intern will work closely with experienced arts administrators and have the opportunity to learn from staff across all programs. The intern will participate in planning and producing a community-based arts program in Reed Park. The intern will learn day to day operations including but not limited to: planning meetings, budgeting, marketing, interdepartmental coordination, implementation and evaluation of the activations, and how to run an arts commission meeting. This position will also have an opportunity to build strategic and creative thinking skills to support CAD initiatives. The CAD intern will have weekly check-ins with their supervisor to assess their goals, challenges, and to share ongoing learnings and ideas. By the end of the internship, this intern will have working knowledge of all aspects of planning site specific, community based arts programming. This position will work an average of 20 hrs/week from July - November 2026.
