Description

 We are looking for an intern who: -Familiar with some programs within Adobe Creative Suite - Loves visual arts and/or has some knowledge of art - Is friendly and loves working with high school-age youth and young adults - Encourages art making and growth in our students - Takes direction well and can take the lead role when needed - Has a positive attitude, is easy-going, and can work individually or/with a team. This position is flexible in terms of working hours and time. We will work with students to accommodate their schedules on most days, and on some days, they may need to attend class. The hours would be 15-20 hours per week.

Background

United Cambodian Community's Living Arts Long Beach is seeking a dynamic individual who is eager to challenge their creative skills in the arts. This individual should be able to make analog art, digital art (knowledge in Adobe Creative Suites would be helpful but not necessary). UCC is an easy-going place; please be easy to work with while being flexible in various job duties, including designing, creating, and assisting the UCC team to achieve visual success.
