Greenway's Program and Marketing Intern will work closely with Natalie Iturbe Jackson, Greenway's Marketing Manager/Director on a variety of marketing projects for Greenway Arts Alliance and the Melrose Trading Post. The intern will be profiling, documenting and promoting the local artists who perform, as well as the artists who are small business owners using the Melrose Trading Post as a platform from which to market and promote their work. The intern will also work with Christina Carrera, Greenway's Director of Student Programs on a variety of tasks for Greenway Institute for the Arts summer and school year for LAUSD high school students. They will be working with GreenwayREADS program, assisting in the coordination to bring over 400 students to the Greenway Court Theatre matinees. This position will work approximately 15-20 hours a week from June 2026 through February 2027 until 400 hours have been completed.
The Program and Marketing Intern will possess strong written and oral communication skills and should be comfortable with working with a diversity of people including high school students. This candidate is self-motivated and flexible in performing a myriad of tasks. They should have a desire to learn the basics of Marketing, Community Engagement and Arts Education. The intern should be fluent with computers (PC/Mac), Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Internet Research and online social networking. Adobe Software knowledge, graphic design & video editing skills, and prior marketing, event organizing & promotion experience is a plus.
