Description

Reporting to artworxLA’s Development and Communications staff and Executive Director, artworxLA’s Summer 2024 Development and Communications Intern will gain a comprehensive understanding of the intersections between development and communications goals for an arts education nonprofit. The intern will expand their visual and verbal communication skills through helping create key marketing assets and donor stewardship materials in line with the artworxLA 2024-25 Programming Calendar. In doing so, the intern will support our efforts to strengthen artworxLA's fundraising campaigns, as well as connect with artworxLA's various audiences: community members; corporate, foundation, and government partners; individual donors; educators; and other supporters.    The intern will work majority-remotely with opportunities for in-person event assistance, approximately 20 hours per week from the start of June through the end of October 2024.
