The Development Intern will play an important role in supporting LA Commons’ fundraising initiatives, including our 25th Anniversary Campaign, annual gala, and grant proposals. Intern will gain hands-on experience in donor relations, campaign strategy, and nonprofit fundraising while helping to tell the powerful stories that drive community support. This position will work approximately 25 hours a week from June through October.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - A proficiency and/or experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite and other design and organizational applications - A strong sense of professionalism and willingness to work with others - The ability to take initiative and work independently - Strong organizational skills - An interest in community arts and culture as a strategy for community development - An interest in fundraising and fund resource development - Graphic design ability is a plus, but not required.
