Description

As a part of the Los Angeles Review of Books team, the Social Media Intern will have the opportunity to work alongside LARB’s Audience Engagement Editor to develop professional skills in social media management, including copywriting, graphic design, analytics, and engagement with the online community of LARB readers, followers, and contributors. This position will work approximately 15 hours a week from June through December depending on the intern's availability and school schedule.
 

Qualifications

The Los Angeles Review of Books (LARB) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and disseminating rigorous, incisive, and engaging writing on every aspect of literature, culture, and the arts. A vibrant, multimedia platform, LARB exists to cover, represent, and shape today’s literary and artistic landscape in a manner that reflects Los Angeles's cultural style and embrace of diversity. LARB produces public events at venues around Los Angeles celebrating local writers and artists and independent publishing on the West Coast as well as educational programs.
