Designed for artists scaling up their practice, this workshop addresses budget tracking, timeline development, working with teams and subcontractors, managing installations, and using digital tools (like Gantt charts and cloud storage) to stay organized and in control. Artists will learn from a highly skilled project managers in related fields who will share ways they stay organized, on track, and on budget in high pressure fields.
Zoë Taleporos is a Senior Manager of Public Art at LA Metro. In this role she oversees the art program for the D Line Subway Extension Project, Section 3 which includes 10 large-scale, architecturally integrated public art commissions. Previously she held the positions of Public Art Program Lead for the City of Berkeley, and Public Art Project Manager for the San Francisco Arts Commission. She received her MA in Curatorial Practice from the California College of the Arts.
