"KCRW is looking for an organized, creative and passionate intern to join our Audience department from June to August 2026. Applicants must be currently enrolled undergraduate (2 or 4-year) or community college students who reside or attend college in Los Angeles County. Recent graduates may apply if they have completed their degree between May 1 - December 1, 2026.
The Audience Intern will work with the Director, Marketing & Member Growth for 40 hours/week to support the growth of the KCRW audience through social media and email campaigns, and assist with in-person tabling at KCRW events across LA County. They will work closest with the Membership team but they’ll also collaborate with the Events, Newsletters and Social Media teams. This is an opportunity to learn about the entire audience user journey and public radio operations at one of the country’s most well-known stations. This internship will be hybrid, taking place in-person at our HQ in Santa Monica and remotely. Intern working 40 hours a week from June - August 2026.
"Familiarity with Google Workplace (Google Drive, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.)
Basic Excel and/or Google Sheets experience
Strong writing skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills (in email, on the phone)
Excitement for connecting with the KCRW audience at KCRW events
Basic knowledge of CRM and email marketing tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot
Data analytics and data entry experience
Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com
