The Community Engagement and Communications Intern will support community initiatives and events while gaining hands-on experience in marketing, fundraising, and event planning. This position will work approximately 30 hours per week and is an in-person internship from June through September, offering a unique opportunity to connect students, families, and the broader community through music.
The Community Engagement and Communications Intern should have strong writing skills and should be comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Applicants should also be comfortable creating digital content; some knowledge of graphic design is a plus. The ideal candidate has a passion for the performing arts, with an interest in music education a plus. Intern should be self-motivated and comfortable working individually and in a team environment. They will work well in highly collaborative settings. Administrative experience with corporate email and computer skills is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite, AirTable, Zoom and other virtual formats; familiarity with Photoshop and InDesign is a plus.
