Interns seeking a transformative experience at the intersection of arts, community engagement, and social change will find the Soul Force Project internship truly enriching. Under the mentorship of founder and teacher Paul Livingstone, interns will develop essential skills in resource development, strategic planning, and creative problem-solving, ultimately contributing to the revitalization of Altadena's arts scene while fostering resilience and unity within the community. 30 hours per week, June through October.
Ideal candidates for the Soul Force Project internship should have: Strong communication skills, including grant writing and storytelling. Cultural sensitivity and a passion for diverse artistic traditions. Enthusiasm for learning and collaborating in multicultural environments. Self-motivation, adaptability, and a proactive attitude. The Soul Force Project is a nonprofit organization based in Altadena, CA, that promotes positive change through global music, arts, and community activism. Their work includes hosting live events, community activations, and music meditations, focusing on nonviolent action, healing, and resilience. All current programming is aimed towards rebuilding the community and resources of the Altadena community after the Eaton Fires.
