Join The Robey Theatre Company as a Marketing & Administrative Intern and gain hands-on experience at the intersection of arts, culture, and social impact. You'll help lead a marketing campaign for our 2026 production, Colored People's Time by Leslie Lee, while supporting core administrative functions. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop real-world skills in ethical storytelling, community outreach, and nonprofit operations—within a creative, mission-driven organization dedicated to amplifying Black voices and cultural equity. From June 2026 to December 2026 approx. 15 hours/week.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a current student or recent graduate in marketing, communications, theatre, arts administration, or a related field, with strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. They should be familiar with social media platforms and content creation tools such as Canva, Constant Contact, and Meta Business Suite, and be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. A passion for theatre, storytelling, and the mission of uplifting underrepresented voices in the arts is essential. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively is important, and knowledge of Black theatre, African American cultural history, or social justice movements is a strong plus.
