Description

We are seeking a Comedy Production Intern to help our team facilitate our arts programming and produce live comedy performances. We host dynamic, creative classes in comedy and storytelling for all ages, and produce several live performances weekly.  This position involves a high-level of creativity and strong organizational and time management skills. The ideal candidate will have past experience and interest in digital editing and helping our team curate reels and film clips for our website and social media channels. This position involves customer service and the ability to engage with diverse audiences, public speaking, stage design, and creative writing. This role is an opportunity to peek behind the curtains of a live comedy venue and experience how comedy can bring people together. This paid internship is a part-time position of 15-20 hours a week. This hands-on position can begin in June 2026 and continue through February of 2027. 

Qualifications

Highly preferred skills include building and maintaining social media content, digital editing of reels and short video clips. The ideal candidate will enjoy fast-paced environments, meeting and speaking with diverse audiences, working in a team setting and the desire to assist our team produce innovative live comedy shows and deliver high-caliber live and digital content.    

Background

Established in 2022, and based in Santa Monica, Crow Comedy, Inc is a social equity-led arts and culture educational nonprofit and performance venue. We are looking for a Comedy Production Intern for beginning in the summer of 2026. CROW, an acronym for Comedy Reflects Our World, is a platform for expression, healing, and social progress through the art of comedy and storytelling. We empower people with joy and laughter, ensuring access for those whose stories might otherwise go untold.   The Crow provides a stage and safe space for all ages, genders, sexual orientations, races, religions, backgrounds, abilities, and socio-economic classes, and leans into empowering individuals to find their voice and express their point of view through writing and performing. We host arts education classes in comedy and storytelling tailored for all ages, and host several live performances weekly.
