The Photo Education Intern will be expected to engage with youth participants between the ages of 13-18, supporting them throughout their participation in a 14-week photo education program. The position will be on-site in our Boyle Heights location; all duties will be performed in-person. This position will work from June 2026 to February 2027 approximately 15 hours per week, between the hours of 4 - 7pm on the weekdays and weekends as needed.
Experience working with the arts; arts programming. Experience working with youth under 18. Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
Las Fotos Project provides free photography mentoring and training to young women and gender-expansive youth. We have a deep-seeded value for social justice, healing and creating equity in the arts sector. The Photo Education Intern will have similar values and an interest in creating safe spaces for young women and gender-expansive youth.
